Description:

Airbus is seeking an IT Specialist to join its newly formed IT team in Belfast, ensuring performance, security, and reliability of the SAP landscape, and bridging local operations with the central SAP ERP Centre of Excellence. This role supports strategic transition and long-term SAP platform evolution, contributing to Airbus’ manufacturing transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical engagement with supplier S/4HANA implementation team for Airbus SAP compatibility.

• Monitor and evaluate IT service delivery during the transition, contributing to performance management.

• Administer and maintain SAP and HANA environments across development, test, and production.

• Manage SAP change control, transport processes, and system configuration.

• Support system interfaces, configuration, and Basis-level changes aligned with SAP architecture standards.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge of SAP Basis and HANA system administration.

• Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations in infrastructure or platform roles.

• Proven ability to manage SAP transport, patching, upgrades, and configuration.

• Strong background in SAP system security management and technical architecture planning.
