My client is a leading technology consultancy based on the outskirts of Cambridge. They are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with a minimum of 1-3 years within a similar position. The ideal candidate will have experience with maintaining both hardware and software but experience with computer networks is essential for this role. Lastly you must have a UK passport for this role and be eligible for security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure both hardware and software including network servers.
• Manage company’s network infrastructure including servers and switchers.
• Ensure routine system monitoring and triage complex issues.
• Upgrade systems where appropriate and monitor system performance.
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data.

Key skills

• 1-3 years in a system administration role or network administrator.
• Experience with networks (LAN,WAN) and patch management
• Familiarity with windows operating systems and platforms.
• Work well as a team player and solve complex problems.
