Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Stefanini, a global IT services company, in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in delivering a premium IT support service, ensuring that customer support requests and incidents are handled efficiently. This diverse role involves both remote and on-site support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain positive relationships with customers. The position involves direct interaction with hardware and software, including managing technical problems and coordinating with third-party vendors to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support that consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.

  • Recommend products or services based on customer needs.

  • Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed.

  • Manage user accounts, including rights, security, and system groups.

  • Resolve issues escalated from Tiers 1, 2, and 3 with onsite support for hardware or software problems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network device issues.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware/software resolutions.

  • Handle break-fix support for hardware or software related issues.

  • Interface with vendors and manufacturers for technical assistance.

  • Execute installations of PCs, peripherals, and LAN-based equipment.

  • Assist with security setups and administrative procedures.

  • Document changes to inventory, use, and configuration.

Requirements:

  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification (recommended).

  • Microsoft Operating System / Office Certification(s) are an asset.

  • Advanced MS Office 365 skills.

  • Scripting and coding skills are an advantage.

  • Ability to solve simple hardware issues.

  • Advanced user of iOS and Android.

  • Basic Networking skills.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and permissions.

  • At least 5 years of experience in onsite support.

  • Ability to work in a fast-evolving technology environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
