- Documenting issues and solutions in a ticketing system or knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborating with other IT staff members to resolve complex issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
To ensure that your systems are properly administered, your job duties may include:
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance and security of computer systems and networks.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Conducting regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and patches.
