As a leader in the industry, the company is seeking an experienced Jewellery Workshop Manager to relocate to the Midlands and manage its exceptional workshop team.

In this pivotal role, the Jewellery Workshop Manager will bring 7+ years of goldsmithing experience, particularly in High Jewellery, overseeing workshop operations, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining the brand's high standards. This role also requires proficiency with CAD to support design processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • High Jewellery Expertise: Use over 7 years of goldsmithing experience in High Jewellery, mastering advanced techniques such as micro pavé, complex stone setting, and bespoke finishing.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of highly skilled artisans, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Production Oversight: Manage the workshop schedule to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality pieces, adhering to luxury standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous inspections of High Jewellery pieces, ensuring precision and artistry.
  • CAD Skills: Oversee the use of CAD software to facilitate complex projects and support the integration of design with production.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine production processes for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure the workshop meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the supply of precious metals and gemstones to ensure uninterrupted production.

Requirements:

  • Goldsmith Experience: Minimum of 7 years in goldsmithing, with extensive expertise in High Jewellery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in goldsmithing techniques, including micro pavé, stone setting, and bespoke finishes.
  • CAD Experience: CAD software proficiency is desirable to support design and production processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team of artisans.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of production, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for collaboration with designers, suppliers, and clients.
