This internship offers aspiring journalists the opportunity to develop professional writing skills, gain real-world newsroom experience, and contribute to stories that matter. Conduct comprehensive research, interviews, and investigations to produce factual and engaging content.
Write news articles, features, and editorials maintaining high standards of journalistic integrity, objectivity, and accuracy.
Collaborate with editors and other journalists to brainstorm and refine compelling story ideas and topics.
Fact-check and verify information from multiple credible sources.
Stay informed on current affairs, social issues, politics, science, and cultural trends.
Develop multimedia content (videos, podcasts, and graphics) to enhance storytelling impact.
Uphold ethical standards and follow best practices in digital journalism.
Manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, evolving news cycle.
Interact with readers and audiences across digital and social media platforms to foster community engagement.
A Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
Strong writing, research, and editorial skills with an eye for detail and clarity.
Deep curiosity about global events, politics, culture, and technology.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, virtual newsroom.
Proficiency in digital tools, content management systems, and social media engagement.
Understanding of ethical journalism and balanced reporting.
Adaptability to evolving priorities and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Prior experience in writing, blogging, or journalism internships will be advantageous.

Stipend: Unpaid (potential transition to paid role based on performance)
