Junior Copywriter

At Momentum, we are looking for a social-first, ideas-driven Junior Conceptual Copywriter to help us shape the future of experiences and bring your own brand of thinking to projects across entertainment, culture and technology.

As Junior Conceptual Copywriter, you'll play a key role in concepting and crafting everything from big experiential ideas to short and snappy copy and content scripts. You'll have an ambition to write and think in ways different to everyone else, with a desire to learn from others in the team and elevate your craft. You'll be constantly in tune with popular culture and fascinated by emerging technology and the exciting opportunities this offers to deliver genuinely memorable experiences.

Day-to-day, you'll work into midweight and senior members of the creative team and be willing to work solo, or partner with others on a wide range of projects under the guidance of creative leads; from pitches, to experiential events. You'll be hungry to learn more and challenge the status quo of what 'creative' is. Unafraid to voice your opinion, but able to follow creative direction to get to the best outcome for the brief.

You'll be enthusiastic and honest and can persuasively present your ideas and their execution. Most importantly, you'll care about the craft of words; experimenting and playing with writing to tell the most engaging story.

• A portfolio showcasing original thinking and writing; this might include a mix of industry work or personal passion projects.

• Communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to colleagues.

• Previous experience working as a writer or experience in a creative field, ready to upskill.

• A desire to push beyond the boundaries of what traditional creative is.

• A native understanding of social media platforms and trends.
