Junior Developer

Description:

The Library, Technology and Information Service is at heart an academic service that is integrated within the curriculum and co-curriculum delivered to each student, supports the research needs of staff and students, while also enabling staff in the University to do their part in supporting students.

The service has three primary functions:

  • The delivery of information and digital resources to the University, including providing the skills and training to get the most from those resources. In partnership with ADU the Service will curate a rich set of resources covering books, on-line material, and resources generated by the University. This function covers holistic management of our information resources including security.
  • The delivery of the technology services to support those information resources (and generally enabling the wider University to operate effectively). This includes: the provision and support of desktop and mobile equipment to support classroom teaching, as well as supporting business functions and research; and the delivery and support of all business-critical IT systems that support the University’s business processes. The LTI Service primarily configures and supports commercial off the shelf systems but has the ability and skills to develop and innovate novel functions where the University benefits.
  • Customer Service Management to ensure the spaces, resources and systems provided by LTI, achieve the service levels needed by staff and students. This includes delivery of a Hub service centred in each Library space to support student and staff in the most convenient way possible.
