Description:
We’re looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst to join us as our second person in the FP&A team. Working in a 3-people finance team, you’ll support financial planning, reporting, and business analysis across Photoroom. In the process, you’ll hone the skills you enjoy the most across FP&A, so that you can build your career in the direction that actually excites you.
About The Role
- Run the numbers leaders rely on. Own monthly reporting (P&L, cost centres, variances) and deliver it in a way that makes decisions easy. When something moves, you spot it first and explain why.
- Be a finance partner to the whole company. Work directly with team leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A. Help them understand their budgets, make trade-offs, and stay accountable without slowing them down.. Work directly with team leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A. - Turn raw data into a clear story. Pull data from our warehouse, build clean models in Sheets, and translate outcomes into “what happened, what it means, what we do next”.
- Shape forecasts, not just reports. Build scenarios and sensitivities that inform hiring, spend, and priorities; your work feeds planning cycles and changes what we do next quarter.
- Raise the bar for how Finance operates. Simplify messy processes, automate recurring work, and improve documentation; you’ll help build the FP&A foundations we’ll scale on as the company grows.
About You
- You bring enough experience to ramp fast. You have at least one year of professional experience (internships are fine), and know your way around basic analytics, P&L, cost drivers, and the logic behind key metrics
- You want a seat close to decisions. You’re specifically motivated by being the second person in FP&A. You like small teams where your work shows up in leadership discussions quickly, and where ownership is real rather than symbolic.
- You’re effective with data. You have a strong numerical background and know how to run analytics leveraging spreadsheets. Ideally, you have some SQL experience. If you don’t, you are excited at the idea of learning it.
- You’re rigorous, and fast. You catch inconsistencies, pressure-test assumptions, and keep a high bar for accuracy, but you also know when “good and clear” beats “perfect and late”.
- You’re able to come to our Paris office on a hybrid basis.
Benefits
- Regular team gatherings, including in-person onboarding in Paris (1-2 weeks), yearly company offsite and team retreat, quarterly in-person meetings (monthly during probation period), and social events like winter party and hackathons.
- 30 days annual leave plus local public holidays
- Competitive equity package with stock options/BSPCE, giving you ownership in our growing company
- €1000 one-time home office grant
- €1,000 annual learning and development budget for training, courses, books, and skill development
- Private health insurance
- Access to personalised mental health support, including 1:1 sessions with therapists or coaches, self-care tools, and well-being resources via MokaCare
- Sports and cultural activities reimbursement
- Relocation support (up to 10k) available within Europe for those choosing to move to France, including apartment finding and visa assistance.
