Junior Graphic Designer

Creative all rounder required to join our small busy team.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust require a junior graphic designer who will become part of the Design, Photography & Reprographics Team, working on both the University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Woolwich sites.

The Department provides a comprehensive design, illustrative, photographic, video and printing service to the Trust as well as to external agencies.

We design and produce all types of media for use in marketing, teaching, research or publication. We work with all clinical specialties throughout the Trust and have close links with the Communications Department.

As well as design, we provide a wide range of clinical and non-clinical photography, including PR photography and video services to all specialties throughout the Trust.

Applicants must be versatile as the job can cover anything from layouts of forms or drug charts to creating and developing public health campaigns. A good knowledge of photographic and video processes is desirable. Familiarity with image database systems would be advantageous.

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years relevant post qualification experience. Although you will be working under the supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer, you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work without supervision and will need to have the following:

• BA Hons in Graphic Design with photography experience, or

HND with relevant experience

• Excellent skills working with Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere)
• Excellent communication skills
