Junior Graphic Designer

We have a very exciting new opportunity for a Fashion Junior Graphic Designer to join a leading successful supplier to trend lead accounts.

Based in Leicester, the company is a large volume supplier to several high street retailers and have continued to grow and thrive during the last few years.

Reporting into the Graphic Designer, you must have a natural flair for graphics, illustrations, and slogans with a great eye for colour and trend. This company offers a wonderful company culture and team environment.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Being aware of current fashion forward graphics trends and producing mood/direction boards.
• Scaling graphics and pantone matching while preparing packs for sampling.
• Following designs from the first sample stage through to production.
• Keeping up to date with fashion trends including colours and shapes.
• Maintaining the company identity and developing its product portfolio.
• The role involves liaising with other departments within the company for example: merchandising, QA & overseas factories.
• Preparing design/factory packs and artwork for sampling.

Person specification:

• Good communication skills essential.
• Willingness to learn and hunger to progress within the fashion graphic industry.
• To be proficient on Mac in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to think outside the box and design commercially.
• Good team player.
• Strong CAD Skills.
