Pharm Appy, an innovative and fast-growing HealthTech startup, is seeking a Junior React Developer to join their dynamic team in Manchester. PharmAppy is on a mission to revolutionise patient-pharmacy connectivity, offering the UK’s only platform that integrates both GP and pharmacy workflows. Patients can order and track prescriptions, manage dependants, communicate with pharmacies, and access services—all through a seamless app and web platform.

Recently recognised in GP Bullhound’s Northern Stars and featured in the Startups 100, PharmAppy is scaling rapidly with partnerships across the UK pharmacy network. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, contributing to impactful projects that directly improve healthcare accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ReactJS features for web platforms.

• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and accessible components.

• Integrate front-end components with Node.js APIs.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, following best practices in testing and optimisation.

• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, code reviews) while benefiting from mentorship and structured growth support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

• Familiarity with Git and npm.

• Strong interest in learning React Native and working with APIs.

• Collaborative mindset, problem-solving ability, and a passion for building impactful technology products.

Desirable Skills (Bonus):

• Knowledge of Node.js development.

• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles.
