Pegasus Group, a leading development consultancy in the UK, is seeking highly skilled Senior to Associate Level Landscape Planners to join its dynamic Environment team based in the London Office. This role is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about landscape planning and sustainable development who are looking to influence high-profile projects across multiple sectors.

From strategic landscape analysis to the design and delivery of sustainable spaces, the team contributes significantly to major planning applications, appeals, and environmentally focused developments.
As a key member of the Environment team, you will be instrumental in providing landscape planning expertise for a diverse portfolio of projects, including those in the energy and residential sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that involve collaboration with barristers, consultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams to drive success in planning outcomes.
Lead and deliver Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA), and Greenbelt/Greybelt assessments.
Conduct comprehensive landscape appraisals, feasibility studies, and strategic evaluations.
Prepare supporting landscape statements, mitigation strategies, and visual representations to guide planning decisions.
Represent Pegasus Group in planning inquiries and liaise with legal professionals such as barristers when required.
Manage multiple project workstreams from inception to completion with a proactive and analytical approach.
Produce high-quality technical reports and documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional standards.
Mentor junior staff and work collaboratively with team members across offices to ensure excellence in service delivery.
Actively participate in the development of sustainable and innovative landscape planning strategies aligned with client and community needs.
Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
Demonstrated proficiency in LVIA, landscape planning, mitigation design, and visual impact analysis.
Extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, or residential sectors.
Exceptional technical report writing and project management skills.
Strong commercial awareness, ability to manage time, budgets, and resources effectively.
Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative working abilities.
Ability to operate independently as well as within multidisciplinary project teams.
