Description:

Enerveo, one of the UK’s largest contracting businesses with over 25 years of excellence, is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee its LED lantern replacement scheme in Hampshire and Southampton. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering the chance to lead a critical infrastructure project that supports the transition to smarter, greener, and more energy-efficient towns and cities.

The successful candidate will join a company that delivers a wide range of services, from mechanical and electrical projects to EV infrastructure installation, testing, inspection, and street lighting management. Enerveo manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland, playing a vital role in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the operational execution of the LED lantern replacement scheme.

• Ensure high safety standards and compliance with safe working practices at all project sites.

• Assist Project Managers with work planning and activity scheduling.

• Monitor site progress, performance, and overall project delivery.

• Provide regular progress reports to Project Managers and key stakeholders.

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and resolving any on-site issues.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain accurate cost records and financial tracking.

Candidate Profile – What You Need to Succeed:

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a project or site management role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other relevant software.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to make confident, timely decisions under pressure to achieve project objectives.

• Full UK driving licence required, as site visits across multiple locations are part of the role.

• Background in the Highway Electrical Sector is advantageous, though not essential.

Desirable Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of the 18th Edition wiring regulations.

• 302.1 training: Installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management on rural and urban roads.

• However, training support will be provided for suitable candidates who do not meet all requirements.
