Description:
As a Lateral Flow Scientist, you will join a team of 8 and take part in research and development efforts for our next-generation diagnostic products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on both our game-changing molecular diagnostic assays as well as on assays that combine classical lateral flow techniques with the unique manufacturing technologies available at Sapphiros.
- Designing and fine-tuning lateral flow assays for molecular and antigen-based diagnostics, targeting diverse organisms.
- Exploring innovative methods for reagent deposition and drying into matrices for lateral flow and laminate-based diagnostic devices.
- Drafting and reviewing work instructions, standard operating procedures, and batch record forms for seamless transfer to manufacturing.
- Ensuring meticulous documentation and record-keeping to meet QMS (Quality Management System) requirements.
To thrive in this role, we're seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in the development and manufacture of lateral flow-based diagnostics
- Proficiency in performing in vitro assays, demonstrating a strong understanding of experimental protocols and data analysis.
- Familiarity with QMS, such as ISO13485 or similar standards, ensuring compliance and adherence to quality guidelines.
