Lead Analyst

Description:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Lead Analyst specializing in Supply Chain & Operations to join a fast-growing, purpose-led eCommerce business focused on sustainable and customer-centric solutions in the second-hand goods market. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the London office, and offers a competitive salary up to £90,000 plus benefits.

This organization is backed by private equity and is rapidly expanding internationally. As Lead Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain processes, improving warehouse performance, and guiding strategic initiatives with a data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of stock levels, warehouse efficiency, and supply chain performance

• Design and execute A/B tests to optimize operational workflows such as fulfillment and inventory management

• Drive cost optimization initiatives, particularly in logistics and postage

• Explore and improve various supplier models, including bulk, direct, and consignment approaches

• Deliver impactful insights using dashboards, predictive models, and experimental design

• Support cross-functional transformation projects and contribute to business case development

• Mentor and guide a junior analyst while collaborating with teams across operations and strategy

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in supply chain, operations, or inventory analytics

• Proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Tableau

• Solid understanding of A/B testing and data experimentation

• Effective communication skills with the ability to simplify complex insights for stakeholders

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-first, agile, and fast-paced working style

• Experience in leading or mentoring team members is a plus
