Lead Corporate Resolution Planning Analyst

 

Description:

The role has privileged access to senior business leaders, commercial negotiations and programmes.

You will support on discrete pieces of analytical work for the team, and assist in the data gathering of your allocated suppliers.

You will aggregate, interpret and present key financial, commercial and management information on the activity of Government’s Strategic Suppliers.

Job requirements include:

  • Supporting the delivery of corporate resolvability assessments of suppliers of critical public services.
  • Supporting the team in advising Government Departments, and where relevant the wider public sector, on preparation of insolvency scenarios and contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply where there are concerns regarding a supplier’s financial sustainability.

  • Analytical skills and experience of interpreting and using diverse and often incomplete information to make conclusions and identify risks is essential.

  • Using good interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills to identify and flag issues to senior colleagues. (Communicating and influencing).

  • Form effective relationships with people both internally and externally, from a range of diverse backgrounds, finding opportunities for sharing information and delivering objectives through a diverse range of stakeholders. (Working together)

  • You will need to be adaptable, often working with uncertainty and with a range of other people to clarify strategies and plans and then communicating direction with clarity and enthusiasm.

Specialist Skills:

  • Previous experience of monitoring financial performance of companies is desirable but not essential
  • Qualifications and/or experience in the following areas are highly desirable:
  • Corporate finance;
  • Financial Analysis;
  • Risk;
  • Business continuity / disaster recovery planning;
  • Companies/suppliers research and monitoring;
  • Project management
  • Outsourcing playbook knowledge is desirable
