Lead Devops Engineer

Description:

Join a leading SaaS provider as a Lead DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and scaling their Azure cloud infrastructure. This permanent role offers a competitive salary with bonus and a hybrid working model requiring 2–3 days in the London Bridge office.

You will be responsible for managing and automating cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, collaborating with software teams to foster a strong DevOps culture, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines. Your work will ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to streamline deployments

• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote a DevOps culture and improve CI/CD pipelines

• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python for operational efficiency

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and system monitoring best practices

Required Skills:

• Microsoft Azure (senior-level expertise)

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Python scripting

• CI/CD pipeline implementation and management

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a SaaS environment
