Lead Digital Engineer

Description:

• Lead Digital Engineer responsible for implementing digital engineering systems, managing BIM strategy, supporting project delivery across all phases, and ensuring alignment with digital standards and client requirements. The role drives advanced data use, 3D modelling, visualisation, and digital process excellence within large infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of Digital Engineering from pre-construction to handover

• Manage project BIM models and ensure compliance with standards

• Train, coach, and support project teams in digital tools and workflows

• Collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

• Lead 3D modelling requirements and digital deliverables

• Drive project-specific digital solutions and best practices

• Support BIM coordination and design/technical teams

• Ensure QA governance and report digital performance metrics

• Mentor and develop direct reports

• Identify opportunities to enhance digital delivery

Qualifications:

• Degree in architecture, construction, engineering, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years construction experience

• 5+ years BIM/3D technology experience

• Skilled in Revit, ACC Suite, Navisworks

• Full-time availability on-site

Desired Characteristics:

• Coding/automation knowledge (Dynamo, Python, Power Automate)

• Experience with Bentley tools (ProjectWise, MicroStation)

• Team leadership or mentoring experience

• Recognised BIM certification
