Description:
Hackney RFC is seeking a passionate and inspiring Lead Girls Rugby Coach to develop and lead its girls’ rugby programme across East London. This role involves both coaching within the club and conducting outreach sessions in local schools and community settings, with the aim of increasing female participation in rugby.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Sunday training sessions for girls’ rugby at Hackney RFC.
Conduct midweek outreach programmes in schools and local communities.
Create and deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive coaching sessions.
Promote participation and help expand the girls’ rugby programme.
Act as a mentor and role model for young players.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in coaching rugby or youth sports (desirable).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Passionate about developing girls’ participation in sport.
Ability to plan and deliver inclusive sessions for varying age groups and abilities.
