Description:
As a Lead Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will serve as a technical expert within our solution consulting organization, driving technical excellence in fast moving sales cycles in a dynamic sales environment. You will lead or support some of our key pursuits while simultaneously helping in defining best practices, mentoring junior team members, and acting as a key conduit to our product organisation.
You are a practitioner and expert in spend management technology, financial processes, and complex enterprise IT landscapes. This role is for a professional who has the proven ability to sell value effectively.
What You’ll Do
Technical Leadership
- Create scalable solutions and also provide guidance on solution architecture, often involving integrations with key ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics BC, F&O etc.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, and guide clients through the entire solution lifecycle, including design, integration, and adoption.
Solution Design
- Translates complex business requirements into technical design and architecture for Perk’s spend management solution
Team Mentorship
- Take a lead role in the onboarding, coaching, and continuous development of Solutions Consultants, ensuring team consistency and high performance.
- Conduct whiteboarding sessions to elevate the technical acumen and sales skills of the team.
Enterprise Architecture Expertise
- Maintain good knowledge of complex enterprise IT landscapes, including on-premise vs. cloud ERP, security protocols, and API strategies.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on the most complex ERP integrations with our spend management solution (e.g., large-scale SAP or Oracle deployments across multiple subsidiaries integrating with our solution).
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 7-10 years of successful experience in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for complex B2B SaaS solutions, with at least 2 years in a lead or mentoring capacity. Additionally, you could come from a tier-1 System Integrator background with proven solution architecture experience
- Domain Experience: Knowledge of the spend management industry. Good understanding of enterprise accounting processes, global financial controls, and shared service center operations. A background in finance/accounting is desirable.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of not just executing deals, but defining solution consulting methodologies and improving team processes.
- Technical Acumen: Good understanding of complex ERP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft etc.) and integration architectures (APIs, middleware, SFTP). You can lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT leaders.
- Leadership Presence: Comfortable in presenting value propositions to C-level executives in Global 2000 type companies.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in German, Spanish, or French is a big advantage to support our regional sales teams.
