KINESSO UK&I, the technology-driven performance marketing agency within IPG Mediabrands, is seeking a Lead Writer (German) to join their dynamic and growing content team. KINESSO specializes in delivering actionable growth through optimization, analytics, AI, and data-driven strategy, supporting a diverse international client base across more than 60 countries.

As Lead Writer, German, you will be responsible for creating and managing compelling, high-quality content tailored for international markets, with a specific focus on the German language. This role requires strong leadership to manage and mentor junior writers while ensuring exceptional content standards that align with SEO and digital marketing strategies. You will collaborate with SEO specialists, digital PR, researchers, and other teams to deliver integrated campaigns that drive results for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor junior content team members, managing workloads and deadlines.

• Oversee and edit content for dedicated brands, ensuring quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.

• Conduct content audits and provide recommendations for improved rankings and performance.

• Support development of content plans, trackers, and timelines for client projects.

• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with PR, PPC, Creative, and Media teams for integrated campaigns.

• Communicate directly with clients, building strong relationships and providing updates on projects.

• Support pitches and client upsells with expert content strategy input.

• Monitor budgets and time allocations for content tasks and campaigns.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in content creation and editing within a marketing agency environment.

• Fluency in German with excellent command of English.

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles.

• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff.

• Skilled in research, competitor analysis, and content localization.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• High attention to detail, creative flair, and strong organizational skills.

• Familiarity with AI tools for efficiency in content workflows.
