The Fashion Retail Academy (FRA), a key institution under the Education for Industry Group, is inviting applications for the role of Lecturer in Fashion Buying and Merchandising. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering dynamic, industry-focused teaching that prepares students for careers in fashion buying, merchandising, and related fields. You’ll support students at levels 4 to 6, encouraging their development through immersive, interactive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures and workshops across fashion buying and merchandising subjects

• Inspire and mentor students to achieve professional and academic success

• Design and assess coursework aligned with industry standards

• Incorporate real-world insights and developments into teaching materials

• Collaborate with academic teams and contribute to curriculum enhancement

• Optionally join as an Associate Lecturer, if preferred

Candidate Profile:

• A degree (BA/BSc Hons) in Fashion Buying & Merchandising or a related field

• Professional experience in fashion buying, merchandising, and retail

• Previous experience in teaching or corporate training; higher education experience preferred

• Deep understanding of the UK fashion retail landscape

• Student-centered approach with passion for fashion education and innovation
