Description:
The successful applicant will work as part of a close-knit programme team and be expected to teach and manage modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level, take on programme leadership as appropriate and engage in further development of the subject area to ensure academic rigour and a curriculum that is numerate, challenging and informed by up-to-date scholarly research.
Applicants must possess a PhD or PhD near completion or equivalent higher qualification. Applicants must possess relevant academic qualifications in the subject area, and have demonstrated experience of teaching to the wider academic or professional community, working as part of a team and have the potential for an emergent research profile in an area consistent with the strategic direction of the Department. Significant industry experience would be looked upon favourably and the post could suit an individual with an extensive industry background able to demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching and research as well as an ability to extend our academic collaboration with the financial services sector.
