Description:
The person should have experience as Graphic Designer and or teaching Graphic Design within Higher Education. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of typography, grid systems, editorial design, research methods which inform Graphic Design practice. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of teaching Graphic Design and or typography and preferably a teaching qualification HEA Fellowship and or Post graduate Certificate in Education.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they meet the Kingston University standards in learning and teaching, and research. By the end of the probation period, you must have achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition (if this has not already been obtained). For those new to teaching, this will be through our accredited Introduction to Learning and Teaching and for those experienced in teaching, through our Kingston Academic Practice Standards Framework.
