Legal Counsel

Description:

We are looking for a commercially focused Legal Counsel 4-6 years PQE to join a fast-paced FMCG business, partnering with the Head of Legal and European Leadership Team. This role offers exposure to high-profile, business-critical matters across multiple markets.

The role:

You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day legal needs. Working closely with legal and commercial colleagues, you will deliver clear, pragmatic advice aligned to business priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising senior stakeholders on complex and high-impact matters.
• Supporting a broad range of legal areas, including M&A, corporate, digital, marketing, commercial contracts, and disputes.
• Collaborating with the wider legal network to share best practices and drive alignment.
• Managing your workload independently while contributing to a collaborative team and supporting junior colleagues.

Skills required:

• Qualified lawyer with 4-6 years PQE gained in private practice or in-house (commercial or corporate).
• Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
• Confidence and integrity to handle challenging situations.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, project, and time management skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and deliver value-adding opportunities.
