Based in either Leeds, Manchester or London, a brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive (Corporate & Commercial) to join a premium UK law firm to provide support across the full spectrum of business development and marketing activities. The Business Development team is a centralised function advising and supporting the firm in its marketing, sales support and business development activities. The team ensure the development and implementation of the firm's strategy and help drive profitable revenue growth and develop and deliver a clear brand proposition through the firm's sector focus. The Business Development Executive will enjoy a hands on role, working with the Business Development Manager and the Corporate & Commercial Senior Business Development Executive to deliver the divisional strategy, enabling them to develop and hone their skills within a highly professional and fast paced environment. Key responsibilities will include creating credentials, case studies and testimonials, assisting on sector targeting activities, managing, monitoring and measuring business development activity, assisting in the production of bids and tenders and providing support on CRM queries. The successful applicant will also support on events and conferences and own and maintain various pages of the website including ensuring content is kept up-to-date. The role will suit a bright graduate or equivalent with previous business development experience gained in a legal or professional services environment, to include proven experience in bids and proposals. Outstanding communication skills are also pre-requisite, in order to interact professionally and credibly with senior internal stakeholders, gaining their trust and building relationships quickly. Highly computer literate with excellent systems skills, the Business Development Executive will ideally possess a good working knowledge of Office software and social media.
