Litigation Paralegal

Description:

Daniel Johnston Solicitors (DJS) is hiring a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join their on-site legal team in Belfast. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional to gain exposure to various litigation matters, including personal injury and clinical negligence, while supporting experienced solicitors in all aspects of legal casework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, pleadings, and professional correspondence

• Conduct thorough legal research to support ongoing cases

• Organize and manage case files, discovery materials, and associated legal documents

• Liaise with clients, courts, and external stakeholders

• Assist in trial preparation and provide administrative support during litigation processes

Requirements:

• Paralegal certificate or a degree in legal studies

• At least 1 year of experience in a legal setting, preferably in litigation

• Strong communication, legal research, and writing skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Familiarity with legal case management systems such as Proclaim and Insight
