Locum Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist

 

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated neonatal AHP team. The role requires expertise in developmental assessments for premature infants and the ability to provide advanced neonatal OT services to high-risk neonates. You will work autonomously within the neonatal AHP team to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services, focusing on premature babies up to 2 years of age.

As part of the team, you will conduct developmental assessments and interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for the babies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously within the neonatal AHP team to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services.
  • Conduct developmental assessments and interventions for premature infants.
  • Provide specialist OT support for premature babies up to 2 years of age.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Essential experience in neonatal care and working within a similar role.
  • Proficiency in developmental assessments for premature infants.
  • Ability to provide advanced neonatal OT services.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
