As a Property Loss Adjuster, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic property claims. How You'll Make An Impact
 

  • Investigate, manage, and report on a wide range of property claims.
  • Handle claims from start to finish, including liaising with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Assess policy cover, scope, and quantum, negotiate settlements, and pursue recoveries where necessary.
  • Manage claims across various sectors, including Commercial & Domestic Property, Education, Heritage, Real Estate, and Public/Local Authorities.
  • Ensure claims are handled fairly, professionally, and in line with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, team members, and principals to identify significant claims trends.
  • Attend claims meetings, participate in audits, and travel as required.
  • Comply with Gallagher Bassett’s procedures and deliver exceptional service.
     

About You
 

  • Proven experience in investigating and handling property claims.
  • Expertise in cradle-to-grave claims handling.
  • CILA and/or CII qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of construction, mitigation, and liability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in scheduling works and collaborating with insurers, policyholders, and builders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers.
  • Solid technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
