There are expectations for some interactions to return to face-to-face as the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic eases, which will result in these postholders travelling across the Midlands more regularly over time. About the role Based in the UK Partnerships Directorate within Macmillan Cancer Support Operations, this role is responsible for building sustainable relationships across the Midlands that result in positive changes for people with cancer. Partnership Quality Leads use their skills and expertise in quality improvement and relationship management to support with Macmillan professionals in embedding personalised care and continuous improvement interventions. Macmillan has a clear strategy and set of priorities that underpin our focus and decision making. In this role you will: Develop and maintain effective relationships with Macmillan professionals and professionals' teams to optimise our professional support offers Work with the Professional Development and Knowledge team to influence continuous professional development for Macmillan Professionals and the wider workforce Maintain systems and processes which will enhance our approaches for engagement with Macmillan professionals Provide expertise and support around Quality Improvement within partner organisations Be responsible for coordination of progress reviews, reports, evaluations, and data reviews to support continuous learning and development in service development About you As an experienced professional in the health and/ or social care sector you will be able to draw on your existing knowledge and skills, including: Experience building strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of cancer care, palliative care, or related specialist topic Knowledge of Health and Social Care Experience of quality cycles and continuous improvement Experience of facilitating professional development and communicating at a variety of levels within an organisation
