Maintenance Engineer

Description:

A well-established food manufacturing company within the Croydon / Carshalton area are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to provide hands-on maintenance within a high-speed production and packaging facility.

Typical duties will include:

• Responding safely and swiftly to machinery breakdowns.
• Carrying out scheduled Preventative Maintenance activities.
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
• Supporting engineering initiatives to minimise waste and downtime across the site.
• Support new machinery installation and equipment refurbishment projects.

To be considered for these positions, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• At least 2 years’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Good Electrical or Mechanical skills (Or be multi-skilled).
• Strong Engineering Fault Finding skills.
• Recognised Engineering qualifications/certification.
• Hands-on approach to fixing production equipment, machinery and systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
