Join WTW as a Maintenance Services Engineer – Ensure Excellence in Building Systems

WTW is looking for a Maintenance Services Engineer (Electrical Biased) to join its well-established in-house engineering team at their London office. This full-time onsite internship offers the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of engineering systems in a dynamic corporate environment, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and compliance across all building services.

The role involves working a staggered day 8-week rolling rota (including weekends), contributing to planned and reactive maintenance tasks, and interacting with internal users and third-party service providers. The average workweek is 36.75 hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of modern building systems and equipment

  • Maintain HVAC, lighting, electrical distribution, fire safety systems, lifts, escalators, and other facility systems controlled by Siemens BMS

  • Participate in out-of-hours call-out procedures

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, work-at-height regulations (PASMA or MEWP), and H.V. switching safety procedures

  • Interact professionally with building users and service contractors

  • Promote client interests and maintain market integrity as part of the company’s conduct risk framework


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Recognized trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience in building services

  • C&G 2365 (Electrical Installations Level 3) or BTEC/NVQ in Building Services

  • C&G 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • C&G 2391 – Testing & Inspection (desirable)

  • HAVAC systems knowledge and L8 Legionellosis control experience

  • PASMA/MEWP certification for working at height

  • Strong problem-solving skills, common sense, and the ability to work independently or in teams

  • Strong time-management, communication, and ability to work under pressure
