Description:
A global and innovative social media company is seeking a Management Accountant - E-commerce (Mandarin Speaking) to join their Finance BP team in the UK. This role supports the full process of budget management, including forecasting, approvals, implementation, tracking, efficiency analysis, and financial risk control. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing key financial insights to aid business strategy and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management Reporting Preparation: Assist in monthly closing, organizing financial data, and preparing multi-dimensional financial statements.
- Budget & Forecasting: Support Finance BP in collecting and producing financial projections and budgets, ensuring accuracy in financial modeling.
- Financial Analysis & Market Research: Conduct deep-dive analysis and external market research to provide insights and support business decisions.
- Finance Process Review & Approval: Evaluate contracts, procurement, settlements, and ensure financial accuracy while identifying risks.
- Master Data & Budget System Maintenance: Maintain and update budget accounts, cost centers, and system configurations in collaboration with system teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Education & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 2-3 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles.
✅ Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Mandarin proficiency is required.
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Hyperion, SQL, Python is a plus.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
✅ Soft Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong learning ability, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-growth tech start-ups, E-commerce, or MNCs is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial tools and automation (Hyperion, SQL, Python, etc.).
