Allianz Commercial, in partnership with myGwork – the LGBTQ+ Business Community, is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Manager – Operations to join their Procurement team. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives that optimize the value, efficiency, and sustainability of third-party relationships.

As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a key role in delivering cost optimization, risk management, and innovation within the company’s supply chain. You will work at a strategic level with internal business stakeholders and external vendors, developing category strategies and fostering long-term partnerships. The position primarily covers categories such as Property and Workplace Services, Travel, and Fleet Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic procurement and sourcing initiatives aligned with Allianz Global Procurement standards.

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned procurement areas to deliver measurable business value.

• Build robust, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners.

• Drive supplier innovation through competitive tendering, contracting, and proactive market engagement.

• Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), cost savings, and continuous improvement targets.

• Ensure full compliance with Allianz Group Sourcing Policy (AGSP) and related governance frameworks.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams for due diligence, procurement analytics, and reporting.

• Champion sustainability, ethical sourcing, and inclusion within all procurement activities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• In-depth understanding of procurement principles, strategic sourcing, and category management.

• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.

• Demonstrated success in delivering cost optimization, performance improvement, and supplier innovation.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Familiarity with modern procurement systems and tools.

• A proactive, flexible approach suited to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

• Experience within insurance, financial services, or large-scale corporate procurement is advantageous.
