Description:

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which regulates the conduct of over 45,000 firms in the UK to maintain fairness, integrity, and competitiveness in financial markets, is seeking a Product Owner – Network Infrastructure Management to join its Core Technology Department within the Data, Technology and Innovation Division.

This role involves overseeing the change and operational management of FCA’s end-user networking platforms, including local building networks, WiFi, SDWAN, internet proxy, security services, and other SASE capabilities. You will play a key role in managing the product roadmap, technical debt, governance, and financial planning while delivering high-impact technology solutions and ensuring service reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of change and operational services for complex networking and security products.

  • Work with stakeholders to estimate resources, costs, and timelines, feeding into strategic portfolio planning.

  • Drive agile and DevOps delivery ensuring requirements meet acceptance criteria and add measurable value.

  • Manage budgets and financial recharging to sponsoring projects with transparency.

  • Provide leadership and coaching to direct and matrixed teams to build technical and service excellence.

  • Define and monitor performance against KPIs, ensuring governance and corrective actions where necessary.

  • Own the strategic roadmap for networking and security products including governance, risk management, and delivery strategy.
