Description:

Penspen is seeking an experienced Manager of Bid & Proposals to lead proposal management across Europe. The role involves overseeing the proposal process, ensuring compliance with company policies, managing resources, and maintaining high standards. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with energy transition projects focusing on H2, Green Ammonia, and Carbon Capture. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team across Penspen UK offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee proposal management for the region, ensuring quality, brand compliance, and winning strategies.
• Manage pre-contract commercial matters, including proposal preparation and approvals.
• Enforce Penspen's Proposal Management Procedure.
• Maintain accurate proposal records and liaise with the tender team for compliance.
• Supervise commercial handover of wins to operations.
• Ensure adherence to Penspen's policies and compliance standards.
• Lead, develop, and train the proposal team based in UK offices.
• Assist in client negotiations, business development, and marketing activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ideally, an Engineering Degree.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and regional experience.
• Recent experience in Energy Transition Projects (H2, Green Ammonia, Carbon Capture).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and networking skills.
• Client-focused and goal-oriented, with the ability to handle challenging situations.
