This role comes at a pivotal time as the organization embarks on a significant expansion with a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility opening in 2026. As a part of this growth phase, the automation technician will be instrumental in advancing automation strategies for safer, smarter, and more sustainable agriculture solutions.

The position offers a dynamic and wide-reaching scope, allowing you to be involved across equipment automation, plant optimization, and technology implementation in a modern filling and packaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic automation systems.

• Install and commission new automation equipment and technologies.

• Ensure accurate equipment documentation and data maintenance using CMMS systems.

• Adhere to and enforce all relevant health and safety regulations.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support the evolution of the plant’s automation roadmap.

Requirements:

• HNC/HND qualification in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with manufacturing or industrial automation equipment.

• Proficiency in automation and safety systems, with particular strength in PLCs (preferably Siemens S7).

• Working knowledge of CMMS and SAP systems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a forward-thinking, solutions-driven mindset.
