Eden Scott is delighted to partner with one of the world’s foremost agricultural technology leaders to recruit a Manufacturing Automation Technician. This role comes at a pivotal time as the organization embarks on a significant expansion with a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility opening in 2026. As a part of this growth phase, the automation technician will be instrumental in advancing automation strategies for safer, smarter, and more sustainable agriculture solutions.
The position offers a dynamic and wide-reaching scope, allowing you to be involved across equipment automation, plant optimization, and technology implementation in a modern filling and packaging setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic automation systems.
Install and commission new automation equipment and technologies.
Ensure accurate equipment documentation and data maintenance using CMMS systems.
Adhere to and enforce all relevant health and safety regulations.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support the evolution of the plant’s automation roadmap.
Requirements:
HNC/HND qualification in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing or industrial automation equipment.
Proficiency in automation and safety systems, with particular strength in PLCs (preferably Siemens S7).
Working knowledge of CMMS and SAP systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a forward-thinking, solutions-driven mindset.
