Manufacturing Engineer

Copello Global is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join their team based in Henlow. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into robust manufacturing processes, supporting production efficiency and ongoing improvement across the board.

You will lead efforts in problem-solving, introduce and support new product lines, and optimize manufacturing workflows for safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality. This position is ideal for someone with a proactive approach to engineering challenges and a passion for driving industrial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for existing manufacturing lines.

• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Introduce new products into production through structured industrialisation processes.

• Conduct industrial validations such as FMEAs and process proving activities.

• Oversee design modifications and maintain configuration control.

• Create detailed tooling requirements and manufacturing instructions.

• Drive efficiency, quality, and safety improvements in all manufacturing activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21) plus HNC/HND
  OR
  BEng Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Ability to interpret and work from technical design drawings.

• Skilled in writing and implementing build instructions and SOPs.

• Problem-solving mindset with practical manufacturing expertise.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and platforms.

• Eligibility for Security Clearance (British Citizen or Dual UK National with British Citizenship required).
