📍 South Wales | 🏢 Onsite 3–4 days per week | 👥 Team of 10

I’m currently supporting a leading defence engineering organisation in the search for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team on a 12 month contract.

This role will focus on supporting manufacturing and laboratory environments through the development and maintenance of key engineering documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain manufacturing and safety documentation

• Review and standardise SOPs and engineering procedures

• Support continuous improvement and data gathering activities

• Maintain engineering documentation databases and review cycles

• Assist with engineering change control and improvement projects

What they’re looking for:

• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

• Familiarity with SOPs, risk assessments or technical documentation

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
