Manufacturing Operations Support Manager

Description:

You will lead manufacturing operations support for a UK site, working with operations, quality, engineering and supply teams. You will ensure safe, compliant and reliable production while coaching others and driving continuous improvement.

• Lead and coordinate daily operational support activities to meet production schedules, safety and quality requirements.
• Act as the primary operations contact for projects, transfers and handovers into production.
• Support internal and external audit readiness and act as a contact during inspections.
• Manage responses to deviations, incidents and investigations, driving timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coach frontline leaders and technicians to embed standard work and continuous improvement practices.
• Work with engineering and planning to maintain business continuity, resource plans and local operating procedures.

Working model: This role is site-based at a GSK manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. You should expect to spend most of your time on site. The role may involve shift work and occasional extended hours.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
 

• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Experience in an operational or operations support role with day-to-day delivery responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing deviations, investigations and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits and inspection readiness.
• Track record of delivering continuous improvement or operational change.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
