Description:
Working within the client's Direct to Consumer team, the Marketing Analyst will support acquisition channel owners (paid media, SEO & affiliates) and product marketers with analysis on existing and potential activity. The ability to bring insight to life and a keen interest in using data to spot opportunities is integral to this role.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Being the subject matter expert on GA4 and Google Tag Manager; comfortable navigating both to implement complex setups, debug tracking issues, and ensuring data accuracy across all marketing touchpoints.
- Work with channel and product owners to think data first and proactively support data-driven decision-making for the direct-to-consumer team.
- Provide actionable insights that directly influence campaign strategy and budget allocation; you'll be the analytical backbone that enables the team to optimize campaigns, driving spend efficiency.
- Build and maintain comprehensive tracking systems and reporting infrastructure that accurately measures customer journeys from first touch to conversion.
- Working with stakeholders to create dashboards and reports in Looker and MixPanel that provide visibility into campaign performance.
- Uncover patterns in user behavior, channel performance, and conversion funnels to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to inform future media strategies, audience targeting, and budget allocation decisions.
- Embrace new tools and AI to develop automated systems that eliminate manual reporting work while providing stakeholders with timely, accurate performance insights.
- Work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to understand appropriate attribution models to inform cross-channel optimization strategies.
You'll be a successful Marketing Analyst at the client if you:
- Are insight obsessed and keep the customer at the heart of this
- Are a Google Expert and know GA4 and Google Tag Manager inside out
- Are also comfortable working with MixPanel or other additional analysis tools
- Excel at taking multi-source data and presenting clear, actionable recommendations
- Are technically curious and not afraid to troubleshoot technical issues
- Are a proactive and motivated individual, actively exploring data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Can prioritize effectively and know when to deliver quick directional insight vs. comprehensive deep-dive analysis
