They are seeking a highly professional and energetic marketing professional for this fast-paced and varied role. On any given day you could be leading on a news briefing, organising a client conference or supporting a partner in the pursuit of work from a client. Based in Birmingham, the Marketing & BD Manager will be expected to exploit their knowledge and experience to consistently challenge and raise the firm's marketing standards and to drive forward and develop the marketing for the practice. You will work with the Head of Practice Group Marketing and other stakeholders to support growth through the execution of the marketing and communications plan in order to enhance profile and win strategic mandates. Providing business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends, you will be expected to identify business leads and emerging opportunities and support key partners and stakeholders in client targeting and business development initiatives. Challenging traditional marketing techniques and embracing technology and cutting-edge approaches to drive connectivity, the successful applicant's main duties will include supporting the development, implementation and delivery of campaigns using the full range of routes to market; developing best in class, product-based client collateral; and event management, including those with a global focus. You will possess proven experience within a marketing and BD role, gained whilst working in a professional services firm with international offices, and a successful track record of delivering or supporting the delivery of marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives, including strategic events, creation and activation of thought leadership, marketing communications and business development activities. Proactive and enthusiastic, the Marketing & BD Manager will need a strong client focus and the ability to develop relationships and capacity to use influencing skills to gain credibility across all levels within the firm.
