Description:

Turney Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to cover a fixed-term maternity leave role beginning August 2025. This full-time, on-site opportunity involves leading and coordinating marketing activities across multiple business divisions including agriculture, groundcare, and garden machinery.

Founded in 1948, Turney Group is a trusted dealer for several prestigious UK franchises such as New Holland, Manitou, Kuhn, Honda, and Stihl. Known for offering machinery to suit diverse customer requirements, the company delivers exceptional aftersales support and is now looking for a marketing professional to support its growing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute various marketing projects and campaigns

  • Create program schedules, project documentation, and detailed checklists

  • Conduct market research on audience needs, competition, and industry trends

  • Monitor and report marketing campaign performance and improvement metrics

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent and professional communication across platforms

  • Coordinate marketing support across all departments

  • Organize promotional events such as exhibitions, open days, and trade shows

  • Act as the company’s brand guardian, managing brand identity and marketing materials

  • Work with external partners and OEMs to design promotional content and co-branded campaigns

  • Design and distribute internal newsletters

  • Develop and update content across websites, blogs, emails, and social media

  • Manage company social media accounts including posts, engagement, and feedback

  • Optimize digital content for SEO

  • Write and edit marketing literature to strengthen the company’s market presence

  • Collect customer testimonials and build a reference library

  • Ensure GDPR compliance in all marketing activities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers

  • Liaise with stakeholders and internal departments to ensure marketing alignment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and adaptable with strong initiative

  • Professional and presentable demeanor
