Marketing Automation Architect

Description:

A leading global consultancy is seeking a highly skilled AEM Architect to join its digital team on a remote, Europe-based 6-month contract. This is a high-impact role focusing on architecting and integrating Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with Adobe Marketing Cloud and other systems to deliver personalized, scalable, and data-driven marketing experiences.

As the AEM/Marketing Automation Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AEM-based platforms while mentoring development teams, setting architectural standards, and ensuring seamless integration across marketing technology ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable and robust AEM solutions that align with business needs.

• Integrate AEM with Adobe Target, Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Launch.

• Act as the subject matter expert in AEM architecture and integration.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide technical governance, including code reviews and performance optimization.

• Lead and mentor teams on CI/CD, Test-Driven Development, and development best practices.

• Maintain awareness of evolving Adobe technologies and digital marketing trends.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud, including Adobe Target, Analytics, AEP, and Launch.

• Strong skills in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern development frameworks.

• Experience integrating AEM with CRM, ERP, and other marketing platforms.

• Understanding of cloud deployment strategies, scaling, and high availability.

• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, documentation, and mentoring practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM or related certifications.

• Experience in leading architectural design for digital marketing platforms.

• Knowledge of digital security and compliance best practices.
