Marketing Coordinator

Affinia, a UK Top 50 Accountancy Firm, is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic and expanding marketing team based in Sutton. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Marketing Manager in developing impactful internal and external communications, managing campaigns, and supporting event execution that aligns with the firm’s growth and brand objectives.

With over 500 professionals across 11 offices, Affinia serves clients across the UK and internationally in seven key practice areas: Accountancy & Advisory, Tax and Planning, Audit Services, Corporate Finance, Digital Solutions, Payroll, and Financial Planning.

This role will be ideal for a driven marketing professional with a passion for communications, event coordination, and creative content development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications

• Create engaging written and visual content for internal communication platforms, including The Loop (intranet) and staff updates.

• Support internal engagement initiatives such as events, activities, and announcements.

• Contribute to quarterly staff communications and cultural initiatives.

Campaign and Event Support

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media, web, and email channels.

• Coordinate logistics for internal and external events — from venue selection and attendee communication to post-event evaluation.

• Collaborate closely with Marketing Executives, Managers, and the Head of Marketing on campaigns and brand initiatives.

• Represent Affinia at corporate and networking events as required.

• Uphold brand consistency across all materials, communications, and platforms.

Content Creation & Administration

• Produce high-quality written content for diverse audiences and marketing channels.

• Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and documents in line with company standards.

• Provide general marketing support on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in marketing coordination or a similar communications role.

• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and content creation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Confident communicator capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Event coordination and campaign delivery experience highly desirable.

• Familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, or similar tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for professional presentations.

• Knowledge of digital marketing including SEO, email campaigns, and social media management.

• Understanding of public relations principles.

• A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Degree-level education or marketing-related qualification preferred.
