Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Marketing Director, Sales Manager and PR Agency to produce marketing
plans and budget reports
- Organise and promote our attendance at boat shows such as Southampton Boat Show and
Monaco Yacht Show. (May also be required to assist at the stand at Southampton)
- Oversee the production of all marketing materials and manage the Cockwells’ website and
social media platforms, including the creation of compelling written and visual content
- Organise photo and video shoots
- Liaise with our PR agency to deliver exceptional news to the media
- Design brochures, newsletters and trade show publications
- Maintain our customer and media database
- Organise and implement all marketing campaigns, such as for trade shows and staff
recruitment, together with any other marketing requirements
Essential skills/experience
- Previous experience in a marketing role
- Ability to work independently to meet marketing goals and objectives
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, how they work and how to write and create
engaging and inspiring content for multiple platforms
- Proven experience in updating websites (ideally in WordPress)
- Ability to use Adobe Suite (or similar video/photo editing software)
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office
Desirable skills
- Copywriting experience
- Experience using Mailchimp
- The ability to speak other languages
- Experience in photography and film would be a major asset
- A knowledge or passion for boats would also be a great advantage, but we are happy to
train the right person
