Marketing Manager

 

Description:

Day to day you will be working not only with the bids and marketing team, but with colleagues across the business to ensure campaigns are delivered that achieve brand awareness objectives and lead generation across both B2B and B2C. This is a strategic role, and we are looking for someone who has the skills and motivation to drive our marketing strategy, participating as a key stakeholder on upcoming technology projects. You’ll enjoy a lot of autonomy, and with that comes accountability. You’ll be our Subject Matter Expert for all things marketing, and able to provide the business with insights and tools, ensuring they are used correctly to achieve the best results.

 

Ideal skills and experience

  • Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience of managing targeted Facebook and Google PPC advertising campaigns.
  • Software: Canva, and preferably some experience with Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop to design employer branded content (with examples of previous work to demonstrate this).
  • SEO: Experience using data analysis tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to improve website SEO and drive traffic would be desirable but not essential.
  • Website CMS: Experience using the back-end CMS of a website would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Analysis and insight to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, implementing improvements and using data to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Leading a team / coaching and developing junior team members.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of our business, and work with the operational and sales teams across the business to appreciate their evolving requirements, planning a marketing strategy and content calendar to meet their needs.
  • Develop, and with the support of the team, create and execute innovative multi-channel campaigns that engage our two distinct audiences; businesses requiring recruitment support and candidates looking for their next employment opportunity.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and consistency, whilst producing quality content which will promote our brand identity and help us stand out from the crowd in a busy marketplace, ultimately building a community of talent and a pipeline of businesses who will look to work with us.
  • By researching and using metrics, uncover insights to help maximize communication to target audiences.
  • Be an enthusiastic collaborator, working closely with teams across the business to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns, and working as part of project teams where appropriate e.g. on the development of our new websites and candidate onboarding technology.
  • Keep up to date on industry news and market trends for each division to ensure material produced is relevant and current, developing relationships with industry and marketing partners to increase our brand exposure
  • Lead the coaching, development and wellbeing of our marketing team to ensure a high-performing, goal-orientated department.
  • Work with external suppliers as required e.g. marketing collateral supply, website providers etc.
  • Support with ad hoc projects and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the business.
