Thetford Farm Estate is situated in Baston, South Lincolnshire and are the owners of The White Horse pub in Baston, The Dutch Barn flexible office spaces, Thetford Farm Barn wedding venue and FRS Farming a third-generation arable farm at the roots of the company.

Our innovative company is growing rapidly and as a result we are now searching for a talented Marketing Manager with the ability to work on our newly launched luxury wedding venue.

A knowledge of social media marketing would be advantageous but a full training programme will be supplied.

Responsible for a range of strategic, digital and communication marketing functions. This is a great opportunity to become a key member of the team.

Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Manager will include:

· Working closely with Management to help create and implement online and offline campaigns promoting the assets of the venue inline with company branding and vision.

· Creating the content that supports our commercial activity ensuring the right content and messaging for the right audience

· Coordinating with all members of staff to promote events and to write content for posts, website and print.

· Tracking the reach and understanding the ROI of campaigns including direct mail, email and social media

· Identifying customer’s needs and gaps in the content and recommending new topics

· Working with partners on creating joint campaigns across multiple platforms

· Managing our digital community by creating relationships with our customers and prospects and building our authority in the market

· Creating, curating, and promoting internally events on social media channels

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications of our Marketing Manager:

· Previous marketing experience ideally within the hospitality industry.

· Experience of the wedding industry would be advantageous.

· A strong copywriter who is technically minded and can write creatively and technically.

· Strong storytelling skills – the ability to turn digital strategies into compelling stories

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to confidently and clearly present work to stakeholders

· Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines

· Be a champion for marketing and communication with sites to align goals and create a forum for information sharing on driving sales

· Drive collaboration and revenue growth to include ongoing campaigns and day to day site support

· Manage Marketing Budget for optimisation and efficiency
