B London is a well-established branding and design agency based in London, currently seeking a commercially sharp and proactive Business Development & Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is a crucial hire reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering a unique opportunity to influence the agency’s strategic direction and growth trajectory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing the agency’s marketing efforts across multiple channels. You will play an integral role in building new client relationships, developing marketing strategies, and increasing brand visibility in key target sectors including Higher Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and build a robust new business pipeline through cold outreach, consistent follow-ups, and networking.

  • Lead research and submission efforts for public tenders, ensuring timely and competitive proposals.

  • Represent the agency at events, conferences, and client meetings, focusing on target sectors such as Higher Education.

  • Manage and execute the agency’s marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and events.

  • Maintain and update CRM system (Pipedrive) along with detailed reporting on business development and marketing activities.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams on client pitches and marketing plans to align goals and maximize impact.

  • Utilize LinkedIn strategically to enhance visibility and connect with key decision-makers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in business development and marketing, ideally within a creative agency environment.

  • Strong understanding of branding, design, and digital/social media marketing strategies.

  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding new business targets.

  • Confident in cold calling, writing outreach emails, and engaging at networking events.

  • Highly organized, commercially aware, and naturally persuasive.
